I tried all the things, all the supplements, turned the lights down in the evenings, but what really helped the most was blending in beautiful Ayurvedic lunar rituals that eventually gave me grounding and nourishment during my perimenopausal years.
I came to see the night hours as my sanctuary instead of my prison.

In our perimenopause, which can start as early as your late 30s, by the way!, your rhythm may be all over the place as your body is recalibrating and adjusting to all of the hormonal shifts.
There is a deeper truth unfolding within this sleeplessness: perimenopause is awakening your wisdom and visionary energy.
There is so much gold to be found in our sleepness nights.
If only we know how to listen.
Real talk.
Insomnia in perimenopause, and when we’re in menopause, too, is a long game.
This means we have to explore and experiment what works individually for us. And it can take some time.
There are many sleep hacks out there and programs promising to give you a perfect night of sleep in 7 days or less.
And honestly?
This is highly unrealistic.
You’re going through a huge shift, as your body is recalibrating itself.
What works for one person, may not work for you.
And what worked for you last year, may not work right now.

As a perimenopause educator and coach, Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and sacred transitions guide, I created this program because I know intimately how challenging, and transformative, the sleepless nights of perimenopause can be.
This program is an act of love for you, with the dear hope that you find nourishment, rest, and a good night’s sleep, along with a rhythm that grounds you.
When I lost my rhythm with my nights, I turned to Ayurvedic feminine wisdom and nourishing self-care.
I made my bedroom a lush sanctuary of rest.
I turned the lights low every evening.
And my favorite thing of all, I followed an ancient Ayurvedic practice of stepping outside every night and greeting the lunar energies in a water bowl ritual.
I found myself relieved by the comfort and stability that following the lunar cycle gave me.
The more I dug deeper into my insomnia, and actually listened to the uncomfortable truths my life was trying to tell me with my insomnia (hello, Shadow Sister!), the more I began to see the night as my sanctuary.
I found deeper rest when I began to heal, and let things go.
I’m not promising to “fix” your sleep.
That would also be very un-Ayurvedic.
Ayurvedic wisdom says the inherent constitution of our body, mind, and spirit is entirely unique and there is no one-sized-fits-all approach to healing.
What I am offering, is a gentle journey of learning to nourish and balance your relationship with the night, and with your sleep.
I’m offering a way to attune deeply with yourself, and with your ancestral knowing, by practicing simple rituals to better align you with nature.
And with the sun and moon, and also the circadian rhythms in your own body.
